Being super new to Medium and only with a small following, I launched a paid FB ad last week to boost reads of one of my Medium articles. I targeted women ages 18–65 in the US who are interested in the topic Narcissism.

It was highly successful! I spent $50 for over actual 1.3k reads.

However, since nearly none of the readers were Medium members I earned under three dollar (US)! Very, very discouraging. Here I drove all this new traffic to Medium for pittance.
