You nailed it!

After being told as a child to be seen and not heard and that family keep secrets, I will not sit down and shut up one second longer. Nope! Not anymore. This crazy shit has got to stop.

My writing has NOTHING to do with me wanting attention. I want change.

It’s irritating as hell to get the sympathy. It completely misses the point. I didn’t write what I did because I am about to slit my wrists and that article was my last ditched effort to cry for help. (There’s nothing wrong with that, if that’s the only avenue open to get help, though. No criticism to those who may be doing that!) No, I’m describing a crazy world that needs to wake up.
